Civil Engineering Design is one of Trico's primary activities. Our projects specialize in site design, and include major subdivision developments in the Trident area. In addition to residential subdivision design, we provide water, sewer, drainage, and grading for commercial sites.
The engineering staff at Trico includes twelve graduate engineers, six Registered Professional Engineers, and five graduate civil engineering technicians. With all these resources on hand, we have the ability to handle any project from the first conceptual plan right through to the final phases of construction and beyond.
Trico is continually involved in numerous projects spread all over the Trident area. These projects include undertakings such as complete civil design work for several major subdivisions, shopping centers, office buildings, highways and roads, as well as individual new and renovated home sites.
Two recent projects include Eastport Industrial Park, a major new industrial facility north of Summerville, SC, and the new Centre Pointe Entertainment & Shopping Complex at I-26 and I-526 in North Charleston. Trico has also recently renewed its annual contract to provide Civil Engineering Services for the county of Dorchester Public Works Department. We were also chosen to provide engineering services to Charleston County Roadwise.
Trico also employs a full time Construction Inspector for utility and road Certifications as well as assuring proper erosion control and storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) implemanation.
