Trico Engineering Consultants Inc. is pleased to announce that we have joined Stantec.
As part of Stantec, we will offer a significantly expanded roster of professional services and technical specialties as well as an improved ability to serve clients throughout North America and abroad.
We will undertake future projects under the name Stantec. The full transition will be completed with no interruption in client services. The same familiar faces will conduct business in the same manner with which you are comfortable. We look forward to continuing our relationship with you as Stantec.

We are pleased to announce that on September 26, TRICO signed documents to put into place an Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) which converts the company to employee ownership. NBSC partnered with TRICO in this exciting endeavor. Begun with only two principals and now at 127 employees, TRICO is currently the largest locally owned Engineering/Surveying Company in Charleston.

Trico was one of two firms awarded a contract for Charleston County. This is an "Open-ended professional Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Land Surveying Services in support of the design development and construction for various County projects."

Trico was awarded two new parks from the Summerville Town Council. The Wassamassaw and the Doty Field Park. Wassamassaw Park will soon be a recreation site for people and pets and the Doty Field will be reserved for non pet activities.

Cleve Gillette, CEO has been named Vice-Chairman of the SC Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors for the year 2004-2005.

Andrew "Cleve" Gillette, CEO announced today the construction of Trico's new office building in Centre Pointe, near the I-26 and I-526 interchange in Charleston, South Carolina. The new office is a two story, 40,000 square foot, Class "A". building that will be completed in April 2006. Trico will occupy the entire second floor of the building.

Scott Tetrick, PE Project Manager and Design Engineer, was recently notified that he was successful in passing the Professional Engineers Exam and is now a registered Professional Engineer.

Andrew "Cleve" Gillette, CEO has been appointed to the role of Chairman of the Hanahan Planning Commission. Mr. Gillette is a respected, long-time resident of Hanahan who has been involved with the local community in various roles. Hanahan, South Carolina is a town of 15,000 people nestled between Charleston and North Charleston. |
